I'm too tired to enjoy being awake, but too awake to sleep. The most miserable state of being.
#i had to wake up early as fuck to take one of my dogs for a teeth cleaning#after that i deserved a little treat so i got coffee#but coffee doesnt do shit for me unless ive had like 4+ cups#discovered that this summer. sleep deprived as fuck chugging coffee like it was water#and i didnt even feel awake. i was just loopy as shit#anyway. so i did all that. then fed my other dog breakfast#and took a shower. i get productive af when i wake up early#but now i have half an hour until i have to go to work#and id love to lay my head down and rest. otherwise ill die at work#but i cant. cant do it even a little. im exhausted#but laying still with my eyes closed makes me want to die from boredom#but i cant concentrate on my phone or a book#miserable and terrible

i rlly fucking hate not having something to do early in the morning whether it be class or work or errands or an appointment, doesn’t matter. i can almost always predict w certainty that i a. wont be able to get off my phone at night cause i get hyperactive mentally b. will wake up past 9am as a consequence which means i’ll stay in bed until noon or even 3pm like todays case and c. will have to order food cause i can’t bring myself to do anything because i get even more tired and will d. need more caffeine to readjust and e. be unproductive for most of the morning. like yeah it’s nice to sleep in once in a while cause i don’t get it often (and it’s true it’s probably once or twice a week that i do and now i’m on a 3 week break from school which is why i can) but i just get so mad when it happens.
#ironically i don’t like having early morning things to do either so go figure#but yeah. maybe i’m obsessed w productivity and perfection and need to chill the fuck out tho#whatever i’m waiting on my big mac meal to get here :/#i’ll take a shower after i eat and leave in like an hour for work#yeah one more thing it’s not like i’m not doing anything all day it’s just the morning cause on most days like these i sleep in cause ik#i’ll be working till 10pm (or midnight at my other job)#but still bro like. damn i wish i went to the gym#yeah maybe i need some mary oliver in me and to start loving the soft animal of my body#thx for hearing my rambles :( ily guys#.txt

I wish the world was built so I could stay up all night!! I miss the days when I worked afternoon-night and could do whatever I wanted in the night and then sleep in the day!! What a miserable lifetime, to wake up at 9am and go to bed at midnight!! AHHH!!!!!!!
#i love living alone and i love working late shifts#like when i worked 3-11pm#that was grand#i got home around midnight and then i could do whatever i wanted#usually stayed up until 3/4am#and slept until like 11am#then i had three or so hours until i had to get ready for work#i could go to the pharmacy. coffee shop. for a walk. anything i wanted#because i had the middle of the day. prime business hours. free#and there was a huge 24 hour grocery store near me#so on my way home from work i could swing by the grocery store if i needed. even though it was midnight#it was the ideal life for me#im most productive in the late night/early morning#nowadays i work 11am-4pm#theres no time to do anything besides shower and take care of my dog between waking up and going to work#and when im done a lot of things are closed already#and im tired and being awake in the daytime is miserable#im not good at it#and by the time im reaching my better productive times its time to go to sleep#please world just let me be the night owl i long to live as#for a few months awhile ago i worked 7am-3pm or 6am-4pm#i cant sleep early enough to make that sustainable#so i was sleeping like three hours a night and then napping after work#in the words of my sleep scientist roommate about my fucked sleep schedule- 'it wont kill you in a way youll understand'#miserable#please god let me go back to night shifts and living alone to reach my true potential

#my roommate is doing some film production for school so they've had like 5 actors & helpers staying over for the last 3 days or so#and they've been gone most of the day previously but now they're still heeerrreeee and i want to shower and we have 1 bathroom#they've been staying up hella late and waking up hella early & ive been getting shit sleep cos our house is old & doesn't block sound well#and im introverted as fuck and just want to be home alone 😪#plus my partner's down in portland during the week cause he started his new job but we're not moving until jan#and our cat has NOT been happy about him being gone. like she's mostly attached to me but she loooves her cameron !#so she's been yelling a lot more lol and basically being as obnoxious as possible to convey her discontent#i just. im overdrawn.
